The parents of a young boy who's inspired by Jim Carrey write to Cartoon Network for any letters or photos of Jim Carrey? The catch? Cartoon Network doesn't even show anything with Jim Carrey at all!
Unless you flash forward to, say, 2008 or 2009 when their live-action fix started to peak with their Sunday-night Flicks block, which sometimes showed "The Mask" (the original) or the film adaption of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". Ironically, they only showed them one or two times so far as I can remember. (don't get me wrong, Carrey really is a talented actor. It's just that his work isn't cut for CN.)
But thankfully with that asswipe whose been in charge of the network since 2007, Stu Snyder, finally resigning his post as head-honcho of CN, there still may be hope for Cartoon Network...but then again, maybe not. (cue Dragnet theme)
